Suspects overturned in SF police car during traffic stop, injuring officer



SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) – An ongoing investigation following a traffic stop left an officer injured in San Francisco Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

At approximately 4:55 p.m., San Francisco police officers from Bayview station were patrolling the Missouri Street and Turner Terrace areas.

Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle. When officers got out of the cars, they said the suspect overturned and crashed into the SFPD car and then fled the scene.

An officer suffered a minor injury and was treated on the scene.

The suspect was described as a Black man in his 20s.

Police remain on the scene and are investigating him.
